• Cash Management:
o Oversee daily cash flow management to ensure adequate
liquidity.
o Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize
cash flow and liquidity.
o Monitor and manage the company’s short-term and long-term
liquidity needs.
• Risk Management:
o Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks, including interest
rate, currency, and credit risks.
o Develop and implement hedging strategies to manage financial
exposures.
o Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and
internal policies.
• Banking Relationships:
o Establish and maintain relationships with banks and financial
institutions.
o Negotiate terms and conditions of financial products and
services.
o Manage banking facilities and ensure efficient and cost-effective
banking operations.
o Evaluate and recommend appropriate banking products and
services.
• Treasury Operations:
o Oversee the company’s treasury operations, including payments,
collections, and investments.
o Ensure accurate and timely execution of treasury transactions.
o Implement and maintain treasury systems and processes to
enhance operational efficiency.
• Working Capital Management:
o Optimize the company’s working capital by managing
receivables, payables, and inventory levels.
o Develop strategies to improve cash conversion cycles and reduce
working capital requirements.
• Forex Management:
o Manage the company’s foreign exchange exposure and develop
strategies to mitigate risks.
o Monitor currency markets and execute forex transactions as
needed.
o Provide guidance on forex policies and procedures to ensure
compliance and efficiency.
• Compliance and Reporting:
o Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and
procedures.
o Prepare and present regular treasury reports to senior
management and the board.
o Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies as required. |
